Activities

As well as regular troop meetings, the two troops are active in camping and other activities. We weekend camp pretty much every month, including cold weather camping in December. We also organize a High Adventure each year to places like the Boundary Waters and Philmont..

Weekend Camping

We do a bit of everything. We regularly do a survival campout in December and a camp for helping our new scouts advance. We’ve also been skiing in Wisconsin and caving in Iowa. We like going to the Feast of the Hunter’s Moon 18th century historic fayre and we’ve done a Civil War re-enactment at Camp Belzer. There’s something for everyone in our camping program.

High Adventure

The troop regularly goes to Philmont and the Boundary Waters for our High Adventure experience for older scouts. High Adventure provide an opportunity for our scouts to grow as individuals and as a team, while experiencing some of the great outdoors.
